Feeding Instructions ▼

There are two ways to feed Young Once again Cat Foods:

At YA, we highly recommend Free-Pick feeding. Please follow the instructions carefully. For boosted feeding suggestions and help, please read Transitioning your cat.

If you must restrict feed your true cat, delight use these guidelines:

Average consumption for 24 hours:
viii lb. cat –  Level ¼ cup
10 lb. cat – Rounded ¼ cup
12 lb. true cat – Level i/3 cup
15 lb. true cat – Rounded ane/iii cup
twenty-25 lb. cat – Level ½ cup

For Maine Coons and other giant breeds add ¼ cup to each of above measures for 12 pounds and up.

Delight Note: Because Immature Once more is a food-dumbo food, your cat will eat MUCH LESS than other cat foods. Information technology does not mean your cat does not like our food. Please practice not use distilled water with our food. Nosotros recommend spring water with a neutral pH.

Our 15 year old cat was newly diagnosed with diabetes which req'd 2x day insulin shots. I researched and came upon this food. Switched diet to can food with low carbs (pate, no gravy) and this every bit his dry out nutrient. Within a few weeks, he no longer needed the insulin. Information technology has been near 6 months now and nonetheless doing well. We even showed this food to the vet to recommend to others equally they had not suggested anything other than the insulin. Our other young (not diabetic) cat also eats this. We had no problem transitioning. Price is more than than store food but Way less than the vet visits and insulin we were doing previously.

Beginning started with YA Zip back a few years agone with my supposedly diabetic kitty (who really had Acromegaly). My whole coiffure loves this stuff and, combined with a low carb canned food, probably volition never develop diabetes due to poor diet. Similar they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and feeding a species appropriate diet is definitely worth the time and money to avert issues as our furfamily members age.
